- Five rounds in three minutes (twice)
- Five rounds in 20 seconds (twice)
- Five rounds in 10 seconds (twice)
Each participant will complete this course three times, and the average score of the 3 courses will be the final score. The highest achievable score for each round is 300 points.
This competition is for double-action or single-action semi-automatic pistols and revolvers with calibers of .38, .40, .45, .357, and 9mm, and a barrel length of six (6) inches or less. Fixed or adjustable sights may be used, but no laser sights will be allowed. Participants must supply their own guns and ammunition, as well as eye and ear protection, which are required to participate.
The entry fee for the event is $20. All proceeds will help fund improvements at the LPSO Shooting Range. The winner of the competition will receive a $250 gift certificate from Tri-Parish Police Supply in Houma.
